Sure, they are both high-powered rear wheel drive coupes with active differentials, active dampers, carbon ceramic brakes, and are very close in length and height. However, the Jaguar is slightly wider by 3 inches. The Jaguar also has a very striking visual cue that just makes people want to stop, stare at it, and ask questions. The Porsche is nothing to shrug at though. It grabs your attention and holds it for a very long time.

It’s a JDM Oasis!

By Amy Muser

It’s finally here.. Yes, the wait is over.. I have found a place where people can feel at home; all types of people and their cars can go without fear of discrimination based on wing size, vehical height, wheels, or make and model. Its an oasis to relax and cool down from the Arizona heat.  What and where is this magical paradise? I am introducing to you, fellow car enthusiasts, to a place that will surely serve the community for all its car and vaping needs… Welcome to the new JDM Fresh/Oasis Vape store.

Located on the southwest corner of McDowell and Scottsdale road, the shop is a whopping twenty-two hundred square feet, broken down into a shop and lounge with their doors open for business and ready to serve the community. The merchandise to be sold is a mix of items supporting the lifestyle of cars and vape. The car world and [...]

From your garage to the track, McLaren plans world domination with the P1 GTR.

By Brian Brawley

Some of you may remember back in 1995, a little company known as McLaren moped up the 24 hours of LeMans with their F1 GTR race car. Based off the legendary F1 road car, the GTR took victory from the hands of the most dedicated prototype cars. It took the race in first, third, fourth, fifth, and thirteenth, and proved what sheer mechanical engineering could achieve. In recent years though, McLaren has been a little absent. That’s entirely about to change as the GTR legend is about to rise once again from the ashes. Will it carry the same prestige and stigma the F1 managed to hold for so many years?

New Vehicles starting to Shed the Pounds

By Matthew Harris

Big bulky vehicles are everywhere these days. Handling is subpar and gas mileage is horrendous. But, there is hope yet. It appears that some manufacturers are planning to put their vehicles on some serious diet plans.

One such company is Ford who has recently launched an aluminum body F150 and a concept vehicle made of lightweight materials. Foregoing the typical steel design on the new F150 and going with aluminum Ford has managed to drop 700 pounds from the total weight of the vehicle. Other companies such as General Motors and Fiat Chrysler are taking notes with plans to follow in that direction as well. By the year 2025 it is projected that seven out of every ten new pickup trucks produced in North America will be aluminum bodied.

High Heels and Horsepower: Maserati Going in for the Kill

By Nicole Ellan James

After that chilling Superbowl commercial earlier this year, I have been obsessed with all things Maserati. Sure I enjoyed them before, but with all their recent changes… Things are looking very good for Maserati and I have a new found love for them.

Driving sports cars my entire life, I am ready for a four-door as I envision getting older and slowing down just a little bit. Or at least being able to car pool more often and comfortably. But lets be real, what single car enthusiast and sports car fanatic would trad in their baby for four-doors-of-lame? None. And while I don’t plan on trading in Marilyn any time soon,  Maserati becomes more and more appealing every day. With the shift they have made from being a sports car company to a manufacturer of high-end family transportation demand for these gorgeous Italian cars is increasing.

Is Ferrari really considering a Formula 1 Exit?

By Nicole Ellan James

Don’t worry, it’s just a rumor, at least for now. Ferrari chairman Luca di Montezemolo stated in a recent interview with Wall Street Journal that he isn’t too happy with Formula 1 these days. During the interview he specifically stated that the elite racing series “isn’t working” and is “declining because the FIA have forgotten that people watch the racing for the excitement. Nobody watches racing for the efficiency, come on.” Montezemolo, may have been specifically referring to this year’s new turbocharged V6 engines, which don’t exactly sound like much of anything. He also complained about new rules that don’t allow for engine development during the season stating: “and we cannot touch the engine.”

“People watch racing to be entertained..” Montezemolo said that Ferrari could possibly even return to La Sarthe by as early as 2020. “No one wants to watch a driver save gas [...]
