The Boys and Girls Club and Pat Tillman Foundation held their first North Scottsdale Car Show and Food Truck Rally to support these charities.  Burgers Amore Sammitches & Two Fat Guys Grilled Cheese were the food trucks at the event.  Our affiliate Sarah had the chance to go out and take some photos of the snazzy rides out there.  Check them out!

Car Street Journal and JDMFresh teamed up for a cruise from Phoenix to Tucson for the Import Face Off Car Show.  We met up early at AZ Mills then made our way down south to Tucson.  It was a great drive with plenty of photos ops and a spirited cruise for people driving the 100 mile journey to Southwestern International Raceway.

With well over 90 cars in attendance, Pizza and Pistons Part 3 was a huge success!  “HIN was nothing compared to this!  This is awesome!  There are way more cars and its free,” one of the spectators said last night at the show.  Cars began rolling in around 6:30PM and kept coming.  At one point the line to get in was out onto the street.  The parking lot was packed and cars began lining up and down the aisles.  The DJ was playing some great music and spectators could be seen dancing around and enjoying themselves in the great atmosphere at Humble Pie.  The restaurant was packed but the service was excellent and the food was delicious.

Several vendors were at the show and raffle tickets were available with winners receiving Free Detailing from D&D Customs, Stickers from Beyond Limitz Design, JDM Fresh air freshener kits, [...]

Please come out on 1/27/13 at Firebird Raceway for Import Face Off and join the CSJ team and Team JDM Fresh for a day of great cars and races.

Square Butt vs. Round Butt

The annual Square Butt vs. Round Butt Honda car  show at Speedworld Drag Strip in Wittman, AZ was supposed to take place on Saturday night 12/15/12. However, it finally rained in the desert; and the show was rescheduled for Sunday day on 12/16/12. The main goal was to have a car show and drag racing event to help out .  With a toy donation you received $10 off your admission to the event. Even with the last minute reschedule there was a very good turnout. On the track, a white 240 set a blistering 11 second pass. The show was dominated by the Honda guys, but there was a good showing of other makes too. For this being a rescheduled event on a Sunday afternoon it was a good time, and helped out a great cause.
