SEMA Spotted: 1973 Plymouth Road Runner
[dropcap style=”style1″]I[/dropcap] have been having this obsession with Jeeps and off-roading lately and after walking the halls of SEMA I have nothing but movie cars and rat rods on my mind. Sufficing all my cravings today was a 1973 Plymouth Road Runner that has been turned into an apocalyptic 4×4 creation known as the Mad-Maxxis Off-Road Runner.
The car features a 5.0L Cummins turbo Diesel backed by an ATS Diesel Allison 1000 between the frame rails. The car also has a transfer case so it can be switched from two-wheel drive to four-wheel drive.
Other modifications include an off-road design NP205, destroyed adapter, front dana 60 by Currie, rear dana 80 by Dynatrac, Mastercraft seats, Mishimoto intercooler, Flex-a-Lite Radiator / fan, EBC brakes, G2 Gears, Airaid intake, and Fox Shocks among other things.
Completing the look, the vehicle sits atop 35-inch Maxxis Razor tires.
